Contest Rules
Please review all Contest Rules. By submitting either the Online Entry Form or the Printable Entry Form, you are agreeing to all contest rules and disclaimers. 
- Entry forms must be submitted by Wednesday, October 14th, 2020
- Houses must be decorated by October 26th, 2020 and remain decorated through Halloween, Saturday, October 31st in order to be eligible for judging 
- Entries will be judged based only on what is viewable from the curb
- Judging Criteria will be based on theme, design, creativity, and overall presentation; all decorations must be PG-13 
- Contest is opened to City residents only
All entrants agree to the below disclaimer upon submitting the entry form
- No decorations may interfere with any fire safety equipment, sidewalks, or public right-of-ways
- Judging will take place on Halloween; Winners will be announced via Social Media
- Submitting the entry form in no way guarantees winning a gift card
- No public funds were used for the purchase of the gift cards
- Employees of the City of Evart are not eligible to participate

DISCLAIMER: By signing or submitting the form you agree to allow the City of Evart and Evart Chamber of Commerce staff to photograph your house for the purpose of this contest. You also consent to allow your house location to be placed on a map to be made available to the public. You agree to hold harmless both the City of Evart and the Evart Chamber of Commerce for any incidents or accidents that may occur, directly or indirectly, as a result of the haunted house decorating contest. You attest that you are 18 years of age or older and are authorized to decorate the house and property listed on the form you submit.
