Stay_684521_7The City of Evart is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in the nation.  We are working with health officials to determine what actions are appropriate for the current situation.  This is a fluid situation that changes by the day.  The most current information should be obtained from the below and on the left navigation page.  Changes to the current City of Evart operations will be posted on this website and social media.

The following links provide clarification, details, and tips for navigating through this trying time. All of the information is based on recommendations and data from the CDC, State of Michigan, and WHO
 

The following are precautions the City of Evart has taken regarding the COVID-19 virus:

  • City Hall is closed until further notice, though the staff is still available for transactions, phone calls, and social media.  Some of our City employees will continue to around town - please practice social distancing. 
  • Many public meetings will be shifting to virtual meetings via Zoom - please refer to the Virtual Meetings page for more details.  
  • The City will no longer accept water samples from other locations until further notice
  • Utility bill payments will be accepted without interest or penalty until further notice
  • Parks and playgrounds are closed until further notice
  • The airport remains open to pilots - please refer to the Airport page for more details
