Beautiful riverside Park is located in the southeast corner of the City along the Muskegon River where residents and visitors can enjoy the riverside walking trail, as well as boat and canoe access. This 17-acre park offers many active recreation facilities including beach volleyball, shuffleboard courts, a basketball court, baseball fields, and two playground areas. Two pavilion areas are available by reservation. The park also features a 15-site campground with modern restrooms and showers, as well as water and electrical hook-up (30 amp) at each site. Just across the river is a new 33-acre addition known as Riverside Park East, a great place to take a scenic stroll or catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Both parks feature a viewing/fishing platform over the Muskegon River. For more details about Riverside Park, or to make reservations, contact City Hall at 231-734-2181.
