  • There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19
  • The best preventative measure is to avoid exposure
  • The virus is thought to spread from person-to-person through close contact and respiratory droplets spread through coughing, sneezing, and talking
  • Use credible sources for information such as the CDC, WHO, or State of Michigan websites

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer that has at least 60% alcohol content
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Clean and disinfect 'high touch' surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, keyboards, toilets, sinks, and electronic devices
  • Clean surfaces with soap and water and then disinfect using an EPA-registered household disinfectant
