What is your favorite thing about the City of Evart?
Evart is an unusual small northern Michigan city. Located within little more than an hour's drive, it has access to major cities, cultural, recreational, and shopping centers. However, one need not travel outside the city to meet immediate needs since Evart has ample quantities of the attractions present in these much larger cities. While Covid-19 has significantly affected our area these past few months, Evart still has immense recreational opportunities available through its nearby woods, waters, parks, and trailways. Although much reduced this spring and summer, even some cultural programming has continued. The community offers high-quality public services through its many local governmental agencies. Finally, the people of Evart remain welcoming to those visiting and to those who chose to work and reside in our community.
