The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8. The voting location is the Evart Depot, at 200 S. Main Street. Polls will be open between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Absentee Voting
All registered voters in Michigan have the right to vote by mail. It's a safe way to vote and protect your health, and the process is secure and accurate. You must request an absent voter ballot by submitting the application mailed to you or by downloading and printing this form. Requests may be returned by hand, via postal mail, email or one of our drop box locations, as long as a signature is visible. Requests to have an absent voter ballot mailed to you must be received by your clerk no later than 5 p.m. the Friday before the election.

For more information on absentee voting, check out this site:  Absentee Voting Allows You to Vote by Mail!

 Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes

City of Evart provides two absentee ballot drop boxes, both located at the Depot at 200 S Main Street.  One drop box is curbside in the parking lot and you may put your absentee ballot in this secured box at any time. The box will be checked daily.  There is a second drop box in the lobby of City Hall which is accessible between 7am and 5pm, Monday through Thursday.

You may also drop off your ballot at City Hall or the Depot when offices are open.  Ballots must be accepted by an election official: the City Clerk or the Deputy Clerk.  If neither are available, ballots must be placed in the secure drop box.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Andrea Grupido,  City Clerk at (231) 734-2181 or stop by the Depot Monday thru Thursday between 1:00am and 4:00pm.

For any questions regarding the election, voting, absentee voting, or polling hours, please contact City Clerk Andrea Grupido at cityclerk@evart.org or (231) 734-2181
