Evart Farmers Market Handbook

Find fresh, locally grown and handmade products at The Evart Farmers’ Market held every Saturday from 9 AM – 1 PM. The market season begins on June 13, 2020 and concludes on October 10, 2020. The Evart Farmers’ Market is located at 200 South Main St.; Evart, MI 49631 at the Evart Depot next to the Pere Marquette Rails to Trails.

The Evart Farmers’ Market will feature a wide array of products. They range anywhere from homegrown vegetables & meat to homemade pies, bread, to honey and spun wool, knitted garments and woven rugs to handmade crafts and much more!   We accept WIC Fresh, Market Fresh, Bridge Card and new this year Double Up Food Bucks.  The market will also feature local entertainment on certain weekends.

The Evart Farmers’ Market is part of Evart’s DDA.  Evart’s DDA recognizes a need for a local market that serves the area.  Last season’s move to our new, easier accessible location allowed for great exposure of the market and an even greater turn-out while increasing promotion of local farmers and crafters and allowing families and visitors in the Evart & US 10 Corridor area to ‘Buy Local and Buy Fresh!’ with ease.

To become a vendor at the Evart Farmers’ Market, please return the signed application and proper documents to Evart Farmers’ Market P.O. Box 668, Evart, MI 49631;  ATTN: Angela Hunter. There is also available a guest application for community organizations and non-profits and an Entertainment Contract. If you know anyone who would like to participate in the market or be an entertainer at the market, please pass the word.
