WHO?
Any artist who preregisters before August 1st, 2017 can participate in this exciting event!
WHAT?
The Art Battle is a FREE live competitive painting and drawing event. Artists will create the best work they can from a live still life, during the 45 minutes allotted. As artists work, the audience will move around the workspaces, allowing for an up close view of the creative process. Artist will bring their own supplies, including easels. Any medium or tools may be used during the event.
At the end of the event, a preselected panel will vote for their favorite painting/drawing. The Art Battle winner receives a handcrafted trophy and extreme bragging rights.
After the event audience members can place bids in a silent auction to take the drawings and paintings home.
WHY?
To provide a live visual art experience where friends, family, and the community can get a closer look at the creative process.
