Evart’s Haunted Park
Evart’s Haunted Park is hosted by the Evart Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA).  This event is held annually the Saturday before Halloween at Riverside Park East. Those attending enjoy a haunted forest tour, visiting a variety of scenes sponsored by local businesses.

Shop Small Saturday
Enjoy huge savings when you Shop Small.  Many Evart shops and restaurants will be offing discounts and incentives when you shop the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Shop your locally owned business and save. 

The Christmas Carnival
The Christmas Carnival is the official start of the Holiday season.  This event sponsored by The Evart Chamber of Commerce, SpringHill Camps, and Crossroads Community Church serves the community by offering this multi-faceted carnival with both outdoor and indoor events that include:  Euro Bungee, Caroling Hayrides, Face Painting, Ornament Making, a Family-Friendly Christmas Show and more.  

Egg Drop 
Sponsored by the Evart Chamber of Commerce, the Egg Drop is an event held at the Evart High School annually, the Saturday before Easter. Eggs filled with candy and toys are quickly snatched up by hundreds of children ages 12 and younger. 

Memorial Day Parade
Hosted by Evart VFW Post #7979 the ceremony starts with a service at Evart’s Guyton Park, on the corner of Main Street and 5th Street. The service involves the High School Band, a message, and a 21-gun salute.  The ceremony continues with a parade down Main Street to the US 10 Bridge, where a wreath will be placed into the river.  The procession then continues to Forest Hill Cemetery and concludes at the VFW Post #7979.

Evart Farmer’s Market
The Evart Farmer’s Market gathers at the Depot at 200 S. Main Street on Saturdays during the summer season from 9am until 1pm.   Click here for more information about this Evart Downtown Development Authority (DDA) event.

Woodcarver’s Roundup
The Woodcarver’s Roundup is a wood carving event held annually at the Osceola County Fairgrounds. For additional information on the Roundup, and other woodcarving events, visit the Woodcarver’s Roundup website.


Dulcimer Funfest
The ODPC FunFest is an all-acoustic festival. The ODPC welcomes all acoustic instruments with the exception of brass, woodwinds with keys (Irish flute and penny whistle are acceptable), other horns, drums (Irish Bodhran is acceptable) and general noise-makers. The Dulcimer funfest is an event that is held at the Osceola County Fairgrounds annually. Additional information can be found on the Evart Dulcimer Funfest website.

July 3rd Fireworks
Hosted by the Evart Chamber of Commerce, fireworks are held at the Evart Municipal Airport.  The Evart fireworks display is held annually on July 3rd and starts at dusk.

Evart 4th of July 5K Walk/Run
The flat, fast course starts and finishes at Evart High School, with zero traffic on the course. Medal places 1-3 5 year age groups M/F(8 and under, 9-13, through 65-69, 70 and over), and trophies are provided for overall M/F winners. Overall winners ride in Evart Independence Day Parade. Live music and plenty of refreshments are available after the race. Proceeds go to Evart Public Schools cross country and track teams as well as other school programs. Visit the official MI-Evart July 4th 5K Walk/Run site for additional details.

Independence Day Parade
Hosted by the Evart Chamber of Commerce the Main Street Independence Day Parade is held annually on July 4th, starting at 11 AM. Come join us for this celebration of Independence and 
small-town pride!

Party in the Park
Hosted by the Evart Chamber of Commerce the July 4th Party in the Park is held annually in Riverside Park West, immediately following the 4th of July parade. The Party in the Park offers fun and activities for the entire family.

Timber Beast Adventure Race
Hosted by The City of Evart, The Timber Beast Adventure Race was created to promote fitness and celebrate Evart's historical roots in the logging industry. Run, bike, and canoe/kayak around the Evart area, while enjoying the beauty of central Michigan. The Timber Beast Adventure Race 
is held annually on the second Saturday in August. Visit the Timber Beast Adventure Race website for additional information.

National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual event held the first Tuesday in August. The event is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community, and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Car Show
The Evart Car Show is hosted by the Evart Car Club annually, during the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. The Evart car show draws car collectors and enthusiasts from a crossed Michigan. For more information visit the Evart Car Club online.
