Saline Fiddlers     Now in its fourteenth season, Saline Fiddlers has undeniably set the standard for extracurricular music programs in the United States. The Saline Fiddlers began with a simple idea: introduce an alternative style of music education to public school students. It has grown into a model of instruction and motivation that is being emulated across the nation. Yet more importantly, it is a brilliant example of what young adults can and will achieve if given a direction and the opportunity to explore, and pursue their own interests.

Abraham Lincoln  is, perhaps, the most revered Chief Executive this nation has ever had. His wife, Mary, is the most maligned First Lady we have had in this great country.  A visit with the Lincolns will dispel some of the myths about this Presidential couple. You will learn about their youth as well as their grown up lives as parents of four boys, two of whom preceded Abraham in death. Hear about their stormy courtship and great love for each other and for their country. Share the sadness they felt when their son, Willie, died in the White House at age eleven.  Experience the frustration of Mr. Lincoln, as general after general does not get the job done in winning the war against the rebels in the South. Go shopping with Mary as she grieves over her lost son. Feel inspired by the Lincolns as they speak of honesty, integrity, patriotism and duty to one’s country.
Fred and Bonnie Priebe, have been presenting the Lincolns in first person since 1996.

Shout / Beatles Group  Sought out for its memorable performances, SHOUT! has appeared at several Detroit radio station events, including a fund-raiser organized by WCSX Classic Rock for the victims of summer storms that tore through Hamtramck in 1997. One of the highlights of 1998 was the group's performance at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C., where SHOUT! gave two acclaimed performances accompanying a display of artwork from the world's most renowned artists featuring creations with The Fab Four as the theme. The group has even opened for well-known bands like Jefferson Starship, The Lovin' Spoonful, and even Mitch Ryder. SHOUT's triumph at the Beatlefest Battle of the Beatle Bands in Chicago two years in a row provides testament to the group's stimulating reproduction of the famed British rock group.

"New Reformation Band"
Five of the seven musicians who formed a New "New Reformation Band" in 1979 were reunited: Dave Tatrow on the trumpet, and the full rhythm section (Rick Bryant on drums; Craig Hodnett on bass and tuba; and the Oppermann Brothers on guitar/banjo and piano)...the lineup that was featured on the band's 3rd album, "Beginnings." The drastic change in personnel back in '79 resulted in a change in every position except piano, and the band went to a new level, being invited to a plethora of national jazz festivals as a result. Leader Dave O. is the only member in the 38+ years that hasn't changed, probably because he "owns" the group.
