2017 Reappraisal Information

04/18/17 UPDATE 

The fieldwork for the reappraisal started April 6, 2017. Fieldwork began in the northwest corner of the City on 7 Mile Road. To deny access to your property, or for more information regarding the reappraisal, call City Hall 231-734-2181 or email sarah.dvoracek@evart.org . Please check the website for weekly updates regarding fieldwork completion.

9/05/2017 UPDATE
All fieldwork and inspections are complete. The reconciliation process has begun. We are hoping to have all parcels reconciled in the next several months. In January and February residents will have the opportunity to meet with the assessor to review their record card and any changes made to their values.

10/18/2017 UPDATE
The reappraisal is going great.  There was some additional field work, but it is almost done. Seth will be out in the field doing quality control for the reappraisal. Please call city hall with any questions or concerns. 

12/6/17 UPDATE
To ensure the accuracy of the reappraisal, city staff along with our county equalization will be conducting the final audit review for residential parcels. We will be out in the field auditing measurements and collecting a few more pictures of structures if needed. You will see us out in the field starting December 7, 2017 and we are hoping to finish before the holiday.
